What Do B Complex Injections Do?

Book Now

If you’re like many people, you know that you could be deficient in some vitamins. But what do B complex injections do? This guide explains.

What Do B Complex Injections Do?

Though some people call B complex injections the “fountain of youth,” that’s a bit of an exaggeration. However, these injections can provide amazing benefits to some people. If you are deficient in B vitamins, that deficiency can contribute to:

  • low energy
  • fatigue
  • mood swings
  • memory issues
  • poor weight management
  • low metabolism
  • unhealthy skin
  • poor muscle tone
  • anemia

Vitamin B complex injections have been known to provide benefits that help alleviate these problems. There are a variety of injections that serve different purposes, including those that help release fat throughout the body and boost energy.

What’s in MIC B12 Injections?

One of the most popular types of B complex injections is MIC B12. Short for methionine inositol choline, these injections are primarily designed to help the body burn fat. They contain:

  • Methionine, an essential amino acid. This amino acid helps your liver break down fat, and it’s been known to lower cholesterol and relieve fatigue. It can even help alleviate allergy symptoms by lowering histamine release.
  • Inositol, a B vitamin. This vitamin helps your body break down fat, lowers cholesterol, and helps control your mood and appetite.
  • Choline, an essential nutrient. This nutrient, commonly found in liver, egg yolks and red meat, helps your liver break down fats and excrete toxins.
  • B12, an important vitamin. Vitamin B12 boosts energy and increases metabolic rate, and it helps burn stored body fat. It also helps regulate appetite, sleep and mood.

Often, these injections – when paired with a healthy diet and exercise – can help a person burn excess body fat and keep it off. In fact, many doctors recommend that you get B complex injections while you’re working on a medical weight loss system or receiving body contouring treatments.

Are B Complex Injections the Same Thing as B12 Injections?

B complex injections are different from B12 injections. A B12 injection only contains vitamin B12 – while a complex injection includes other components that can assist a person with weight loss (such as methionine, inositol and choline), or it may also include the following B vitamins:

  • B1 (thiamine)
  • B2 (riboflavin)
  • B3 (niacin)
  • B5 (pantothenic acid)
  • B6 (pyridoxine)
  • B7 (biotin)
  • B9 (folic acid)
  • B12 (cobalamin)

Though it is possible to get all these vitamins from food, most people’s diets are lacking the important balance necessary. Because these B vitamins come from a variety of different sources, it’s important that your diet is as varied as possible to get them all (plus all the other vitamins you need). That’s why many people turn to B complex injections; they provide the necessary vitamins without requiring an incredibly diverse diet. (Check out the table below to see where you can get all these B vitamins in foods.)

Vitamin Foods
B1 Berries, nuts, soy milk, lean meats and pork
B2 Eggs, dark green vegetables, grains, fish and mushrooms
B3 Liver, tuna, poultry, sunflower seeds and potatoes
B5 Organ meats, broccoli, mushrooms and avocados
B6 Fish, green beans, whole grains, spinach and bananas
B7 Fish, soy products, egg yolks and cheese
B9 Tofu, green leafy vegetables, citrus juice and tomato juice
B12 Fish, shellfish, milk and some fortified breakfast cereals

Many studies have shown that deficiencies in folic acid (B9), pyridoxine (B6) and cobalamin (B12) are really common – most people simply don’t eat enough foods that contain them. For many people, B complex injections can help fill in dietary gaps.
